About the Artists
Deon Simone, is a Jamaican visual artist who paints on canvas in oil and acrylic and does large scale murals. She has been spearheading a number of murals, and gained experience from working with Kingston Creative. She stands out with her bold way to show the strength of women while also emphasizing beauty. Her inspirations are Barrington Watson, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol.

She worked alongside Zohria Allen, a young and very talented visual artist in her final year at Edna Manley College of the Arts. Zohria’s input strengthened the mural expression with detail and finesse.

The ladies also collaborated with Alec Champagne, an artisan and artist from The Yabba Project on Hanover Street. This project allowed him to advance his skill in woodwork, painting and artisanship.
