Title: The Nature of Man
Location: 7-10 Harbour St , Corner South Camp Road / Harbour St
Date Completed: December – January 2020
Lead Artist: Charl Baker
Artists: Fabian White, Richie White, Rickey White
‘The Nature of Man’ shows the Decay and Destruction of our environment on the outside of a wall, basically a “graffiti style “, mostly in tones of black white grey with muted colours to outline elements. Then on the other side, you can see the wall breaking down, revealing Mother Nature blooming and supporting children at play in the natural way; outdoors at one with nature, fresh air and sunshine.
This mural seeks to bring attention to the environment and looks at ways that people, as the community, can improve current environmental dilemmas. It is looking at the importance of protecting and regenerating healthy Oceans, our forests, our rivers and the air we breathe. Most importantly bringing emphasis to the fact that this planet is being respected and protected for the Youth of our Community and for future generations.
This mural is located at 1 1/2 Harbour Street on the outer wall of the ICD Group building facing South Camp Road.

“Art is just an extension of my soul. I truly believe I was born to create. I use various mediums to express creativity. My interest is visual and performing arts is multifarious. I continue to pursue creative endeavors and my passion for the arts is the driving force behind my business Studio 969. So whether I am styling for the latest film, commercial or music video or creating a new look for an upcoming artist or existing super star my signature is evident. I think of life as my ever changing canvas – where fabric transforms to jewelry and recycled materials and wire take root and become my “Trees of Life”. Painting is the voice I give to my mind’s eye for murals or other works of art. Once my hands and he.Art are engaged this is my bliss. The continued development of my craft.
