The Montego Bay Creative Arts Festival is a brand-new, free, family-friendly celebration of Western Jamaica’s creativity, talent, and culture. Taking place at the iconic Montego Bay Cultural Centre Square, the festival brings together the very best of the region — live performances, a curated art exhibition, an artisan village showcasing local makers, a vibrant food court, all-day shopping, paint and sip sessions, guided mural tours, a domino corner, and high-energy dance showcases. Two headline competitions — a poetry slam and an open mic — each carry a JMD $10,000 cash prize, making this a festival where local talent doesn’t just perform, it gets recognised and rewarded.
