Supporting Women in Film, Animation, Music and Entertainment
Kingston Creative has led 6 cohorts of entrepreneur training programmes, funded by the IDB, PIOJ, DBJ, UNESCO, UWI, EU and others. FAME is the first female-focused, creative industries incubator, aimed to tap into the female entrepreneurs driving the creative economy.
The scope of this project is to support the capacity-building of woman-led companies with successful value propositions and that could become scalable. Activities to be supported under this project include professional and training services that will equip the MSMEs with advanced business development skills.
Additional activities supported are specialized mentorship and coaching that will empower Women Entrepreneurs to succeed, in addition to specialized capacity development activities that will equip climate focused companies with the technical knowledge and skill to better implement climate mitigation and adaptation strategies within their businesses.
