CATAPULT | CONSULTANCY VOUCHERS

The CATAPULT Consultancy Voucher Programme provides professional expertise to cultural practitioners to aid in the development of entrepreneurial potential through their online presence. Creatives will receive consulting support from technical experts from the region to set up a website, social media platforms, or online store to increase their ability to conduct e-commerce and market their works globally. Each selected creative, 40 in total, will receive a $500 USD voucher to be used for website, social media, and/or e-commerce capability development.

The programme seeks to maintain and enhance artists’ visibility, allowing a global audience to be introduced to and support new artists during this period. The programme targets individuals exploring the critical key themes of culturehuman rightsgenderLGBTQIA+, and climate justice which are so relevant to the region.

Websites, social media accounts, and online stores created will be promoted across the CATAPULT online platforms, and where possible, published by local media partners.

CATAPULT | A Caribbean Arts Grant is a COVID-19 relief programme conceptualised by Kingston Creative (Jamaica) and Fresh Milk (Barbados) and funded by the American Friends of Jamaica | The AFJ (USA). Designed as a capacity building initiative it will directly provide financial support to over 1,000 Caribbean artists, cultural practitioners and creative entrepreneurs impacted by the pandemic and working in the themes of culture, human rights, gender, LGBTQIA+, and climate justice.
