Andrea Dempster-Chung

Andrea Dempster-Chung 

Andrea is an engineer, entrepreneur and executive. She is the Cofounder and Managing Director of Kingston Creative an organisation seeking to transform Downtown; the founder of Bookophilia, a bookstore that promotes Caribbean literature and the founder of Go Global Art, an art marketing platform which helps artists from developing countries gain access to global markets. Andrea has held senior management roles in the Government of Jamaica, Digicel and GraceKennedy and has served on the boards of Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF), The National Land Agency (NLA) and the Public Health Committee. She is a strategic business coach and consultant for creative entrepreneurs and has worked with Jamaica National, the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship and ASPIRE (Barbados). She recently managed the Arts portfolio for the British Council where she developed strategy and implemented key projects in film, literature and visual art to build capacity and drive the creative economy in Jamaica. Andrea holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, a Prince2 Certification in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. She has also studied Art and Finance at the Sotheby’s School of Art in London and Finance at the Stanford School of Business in California.

Allan Daisley

Allan Daisley 

Allan Daisley is the Managing Director of Startupbootcamp Digital Health accelerator in Miami, a program that helps high growth potential startups engage with and bring impactful technologies to healthcare stakeholders. In this role he recruits, invests in, and develops healthcare startups through the commercialization process, steering them toward rapid growth through meaningful engagements with healthcare corporations, investors and other stakeholders. Allan formerly co-founded and ran the ZeroTo510 Medical Device Accelerator, a nationally ranked program for the commercialization of medical technologies.Mr. Daisley co-founded 2 software startups and leveraged those experiences as an economic development consultant driving entrepreneurship-focused projects globally in developing regions. Prior to that he spent time in senior strategy and marketing roles at IBM, where he formulated retail solutions and managed server products globally; and at as a technology consultant at global firm Accenture.Allan holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Doris C. Gross

Doris C. Gross

Art District Pod Lead, Director of Kingston Creative

Doris Gross works an Architect, Urban Planner and is a lover of natural and built environments. Her passion for bringing together architecture and spaces, people and community and art and culture makes her a committed part of Kingston Creative’s leadership. With her experience in urban planning she oversees the creation of the Downtown Kingston Art District, which includes public art projects, new and renovated art spaces, signage projects, urban art park and green spaces. She enjoys exploring communities and connecting with people and to bring home new knowledge and experiences, all turning into new and exciting projects. The growth and development of creative people together with the growth and development of Downtown Kingston sums up her interest and commitment.

Gillian Mullings

Gillian Mullings 

Gillian Mullings graduated with Honours from the University of the West Indies in 1996. Thereafter she obtained her certificate of legal education at the Norman Manley Law School where she graduated in 1998 and was called to the Jamaican Bar. Her legal practice focuses primarily on Commercial Law, Civil Litigation and Conveyancing. She has planned and completed land subdivisions/developments in the Kingston and St. Andrew area and in the resort areas of Jamaica. Gillian is also engaged in the creation of offshore vehicles in the English speaking Caribbean for corporate clients and private individuals. Gillian is bilingual and has negotiated Spanish language business agreements in the Dominican Republic and other Spanish language jurisdictions. Her interests include sailing, painting and travelling. She is a patron of the Arts and a collector of Fine Art.

Kim-Marie Spence

Dr. Kim-Marie Spence

Dr. Kim-Marie Spence is also Arts Management and Cultural Policy Lead for Queen’s University Belfast. Additionally, she is an associate of CARIMAC, University of the West Indies Mona; and of the Black Music Research Unit, University of Westminster. She specialises in cultural policy, with a focus on Non-West cultural industries and creative cities; with long-term research in reggae, dancehall and K-pop. She is co-author of Global Cultural Economy. is a Rhodes Scholar and has studied in the USA, UK Australia and South Korea. Kim-Marie Policy-wise, Kim-Marie is currently consulting with the British Council on their Global Creative Economy Policy Training program. She is also a Jamaica Film Commissioner/Head of Creative Industries; and was the founding Executive Director of CaPRI (Caribbean Policy Research Institute). Kim-Marie was the inaugural Arts & Culture Advisor to Global Jamaica Diaspora Advisory Council to the Jamaican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. She is also currently Co-Chair of the John Hansard Gallery; Trustee of the MAC Belfast and Advisory Board Director of the Journal of Cultural Economy.

Peter Goldson

Peter Goldson

Peter Goldson is the Managing Partner at Myers, Fletcher & Gordon, bringing to our nonprofit organisation a wealth of legal insight shaped by an extraordinary academic and professional career. A University (Open) Scholar, he earned his LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of the West Indies in 1984, followed by a B.C.L. from St. John’s College, University of Oxford, where he served as the Rhodes Scholar for Jamaica (1985).

His legal practice spans a wide range of complex and high‑impact areas — Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Financing, Pensions, Gaming and Casinos, Aviation Law, E‑Commerce, Intellectual Property, Banking Regulation, and Commercial Litigation. He has guided major international and local investors through transformative acquisitions in Jamaica, and has led key practice groups within his firm, including serving as former Head of the Commercial Department and current Head of the Pensions Practice Group.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Goldson has contributed significantly to national development through public service. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Jamaica International Financial Services Authority (JIFSA) and chairs its Legislation Committee. He also serves as Chairman of the Companies Office Management Advisory Board and the Advisory Board of the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office. His longstanding commitment to intellectual leadership includes past service as Chairman of the Jamaica Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Committee.

His dedication to education, arts and global scholarship continues through his role as Jamaican and Caribbean Secretary to the Rhodes Trust and Secretary to the Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee. He also represents Sweden locally as Honorary Consul General for the Kingdom of Sweden in Jamaica.

Kerry-Jo Ford Lyn

Kerry-Jo Ford Lyn

Kerry-Jo Ford Lyn (she/her) is a global executive leader and strategist with over 23 years of experience leading and transforming mission-driven organizations across the Caribbean, the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Her career spans national and international development, philanthropy, and human rights, with deep experience working alongside artists, activists, funders, and movement leaders in complex and evolving ecosystems.

In recent years, Kerry-Jo has focused on helping executive leaders and senior teams navigate big, messy moments — organizational change, uncertainty, high-stakes transitions, and global disruption — while staying grounded in purpose and care for their people. She is known for translating complexity into clarity, strengthening how organizations work on the inside, and helping them become more resilient, creative, and future-ready.

Born in Jamaica and part of the Caribbean diaspora, Kerry-Jo believes deeply in the power of artists, culture, and place to shape more just and imaginative futures. As a Board Director of Kingston Creative, she brings both strategic rigor and creative curiosity. Much of her time is spent in downtown Kingston, a place that continues to shape her thinking about culture, community, and possibility.
