About the Artwalk Festival

The Artwalk Festival started in April 2018 and takes place on the last Sunday of every month in Downtown Kingston on Water Lane and Church Street. This free public arts festival celebrates murals, music, literature, film, animation, dance, fashion, culinary arts and poetry. This is a platform where Jamaican creatives come together to showcase their talents, and Kingstonians bring their families to lyme. The Festival has amazing partnerships with the City (Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation), the iconic Red Stripe Flavours brand, Catherines Peak Water, Main Events and more!

With the designation of Kingston as a UNESCO Creative City and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Designation for Reggae music, there is a real opportunity for Jamaica to create sustainable platforms for artists that will become catalysts for creative economy growth, national development and commerce. This will enable creatives to develop and capitalise on the wealth of assets that exist in Downtown Kingston, to transform the capital city and positively impact the nation.
Come out and support the culture!
