Crowdsourcing data that is properly managed for quality and is publicly available
will improve local research and decision-making.
Crowdsourcing environmental data will improve people’s interest in environmental
management by their inclusion in environmental monitoring. This is also achieved
by promoting public ownership of solutions made through use of crowdsourced
data.
